Baby Gift Ideas

Image
Spring is filled with so many cute and pretty things such as bunnies and beautiful flowers, but it's also the time for babies! I just welcomed my baby niece, Sophia into the family last week, and I had so much fun making baby gifts for her. So, on to the pictures then...     As you can see, the theme of her room is purple, (I probably went a tad overboard with the purple, but it's such a pretty color! Besides I mixed it up a bit by adding a yellow duck...could have made it purple...just didn't think of it :)   These cute elephants on the card are from Miss Kate's Cuttables , she has simply adorable SVGs.    Below you can see the nursery all decked out...isn't this room adorable?!? I made the mobile and the crib rail guard.     This is an owl hat I crocheted from Repeat Crafter Me .     So this ducking is having a little too much fun...Peek a Boo!     And t...

New House!

Image
I'm sure some of you know someone in your life who has purchased a house, and in my community that is the trend this year and last. This is a fun house warming gift I made for my friends who got their first house last year. I used a combination of SVG Cuts files (for the keys and house) and I use Lori Whitlock's frame file.   I went with a traditional black, white and grey color scheme. And to hold the frame, I put it in a perfect little house box. It even has a little light inside that changes colors. So to anyone out there buying a new home, good luck and enjoy the experience.

Squirrel Card

Image
I made this cute squirrel card for my nephew for his birthday. The file is from SVG Cuts , and the original file has the chipmunk wearing a winter hat that I just traded out for a party hat. I think he is just adorable! Since I got the card out to him late I made it a belated birthday card. Inside card I got a thank you card in the mail from my nephew letting me know he got the card and really liked it :) *Proud Aunt*

Let's Celebrate Spring!

Image
Hi everyone, today I have a card to share that I made using my Sizzix cartridge on my eClips. This cartridge is called Cards and Envelopes .   It's pretty cool that you can still layer your elements using a cartridge instead of eCAL, so I was really pleased with how easy the card was to assemble.     I used some stamps I had on hand to decorate the inside...then I embossed it with some glitter embossing powder.   I also used Tickled Pink Trendy Twine .   How cute is this mason jar file?!?  It's a free file from SVG Cuts...come get yours and also check out their hundreds of other free files!   Free Mason Jar File from SVG Cuts .      That's all for now folks! Hope you have a wonderful day :)

Spring is Near

Image
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I know for some, Spring may feel like it will never come, but hang in there, Spring really is near! Which, for a Floridian, means so is the heat, pollen and love bugs, lol!   SVG Cuts has a Spring Challenge on their Facebook page and the challenge is to come up with something using only six of their collections/kits. I'm a little tight on time, but I just love Spring projects so I just had to make something.   I made this little Spring box using the following files from SVG Cuts:   Toil and Trouble Kit Garden Nouveau Memory Garden       These poppies are so pretty, and the inside is a black pearl sticker. I wove the Posy Trendy Twine through the burlap so I could pull it tight around the lid and tied a bow with a shell button. If you look at the picture below, you will see there is a banner wrapped around the lid... But it also un-ties and is a de...
