Squirrel Card

Image
I made this cute squirrel card for my nephew for his birthday. The file is from SVG Cuts , and the original file has the chipmunk wearing a winter hat that I just traded out for a party hat. I think he is just adorable! Since I got the card out to him late I made it a belated birthday card. Inside card I got a thank you card in the mail from my nephew letting me know he got the card and really liked it :) *Proud Aunt*

Let's Celebrate Spring!

Image
Hi everyone, today I have a card to share that I made using my Sizzix cartridge on my eClips. This cartridge is called Cards and Envelopes .   It's pretty cool that you can still layer your elements using a cartridge instead of eCAL, so I was really pleased with how easy the card was to assemble.     I used some stamps I had on hand to decorate the inside...then I embossed it with some glitter embossing powder.   I also used Tickled Pink Trendy Twine .   How cute is this mason jar file?!?  It's a free file from SVG Cuts...come get yours and also check out their hundreds of other free files!   Free Mason Jar File from SVG Cuts .      That's all for now folks! Hope you have a wonderful day :)

Spring is Near

Image
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I know for some, Spring may feel like it will never come, but hang in there, Spring really is near! Which, for a Floridian, means so is the heat, pollen and love bugs, lol!   SVG Cuts has a Spring Challenge on their Facebook page and the challenge is to come up with something using only six of their collections/kits. I'm a little tight on time, but I just love Spring projects so I just had to make something.   I made this little Spring box using the following files from SVG Cuts:   Toil and Trouble Kit Garden Nouveau Memory Garden       These poppies are so pretty, and the inside is a black pearl sticker. I wove the Posy Trendy Twine through the burlap so I could pull it tight around the lid and tied a bow with a shell button. If you look at the picture below, you will see there is a banner wrapped around the lid... But it also un-ties and is a de...

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Image
First off, and I don't mean to brag, but I am grateful to be in sunny Florida today. I've been seeing some crazy snow storm pictures for all of you in the north east and I hope you are all safe and warm.   For today's card that I want to share with you, I used the Sizzix eclips  Cards and Envelopes cartridge. The cartridge includes the card base, the circle in the front of the card, the circle frame and the cupcake layers. The card has some other elements that I added, including a scrap star paper cutout from an earlier project, a butterfly and the words which I used the import and print-n-cut feature on my eCAL program.    I have been playing around with the import and print-n-cut features a lot lately because there is un-tapped potential there! I have some really great digital embellishments for scrapping with Adobe Photoshop, but now I'm discovering that I can import those elements into my eCAL program, clean up t...

Birthday Waterfall Card

Image
For Christmas almost every year I get some really great scrapbook paper pads from my mother-in-law (who I call mom) and this year was yet another happy paper year! I just love this beautiful Floral Specialty paper from K&Company.   I know that since my mom picked it out she must like it, so I set to work making her a birthday card showcasing this pretty paper.     For my card base I used SVG Cuts waterfall card from the Acorn Autumn Kit .     I used my eCAL font library to create the words and the shapes library for the brown flowers.     How about some stamping to reveal a message when the waterfall is open.     Along with the pretty papers, she also got me some great sticker embellishments, and I just had to put a pretty butterfly on the inside.   For these flags I just used my shapes library to make a triangle and used scraps of my leftover paper. Then I added some Posy ...
