Hello You Post Card

I just love the look of stamps and all of the varieties of ways that you can use them for.  I wanted to do a collage type card, and I also wanted a little bit of a vintage feel, so I came up with this card.

For the cut files I used SVG Cuts Cruising Caravan and Everyday Cards

The decorative papers are Sweet Day from Echo Park digital.

I also used Trendy Twine's Gray Licorice and Black Licorice.

For the background I just used plain black cardstock and I dressed it up with white zig-zag stitching. I also did a straight stitch on the green Bazzill cardstock.

I'm really pleased with the nostalgic feel of this card and I love how the yellow and pink pop off the black background.

I hope this inspires you to think of a creative alternative in your crafting.
All of us at Cutting Edge Magazine would love to see what you're working on or what inspires you. So if you have a moment please stop by our facebook page and say hello!
