Fun Flag Birthday Card

This was a really fun card to make...thus the name of my post. I made this for my sister who lives in Hamburg, Germany, but she didn't get my card...it got lost in mail space somewhere, so I am posting the pictures as it will now be the only way she will see her card. Hi Katy, if you're reading this! One of the techniques I used to make this card is the print-to-cut feature on my Sizzix eclips.  All of the cuts came out great. I used Lori Whitlock's Spring Celebration paper pack SVG Cuts Files that I used: Moolight Garden Party  for all of the little embellishment details including the lanterns. Summer Street Carnival for the card base. Garden Nouveau for the butterfly lantern. The twine I used is Trendy Twine's Valentine Cherry Cupcake -red and pink twine. I Have an Announcement Everybody!

I have been busting at the seams trying not to tell everyone until now, but I can offically tell you that I have been selected to be on the creative team for the hot new Cutting Edge online Magazine!
